Mönkeywax was born during the Spring of 2006, and since then has been playing the cover band club circuit in the New England area on a monthly basis. The band is made up of 5 hard working and dedicated professionals who love what they do. The members are Mark Panniello, Steve Andrews, John Pata, Ron Reppucci and Chris Taylor. Personal influences and styles are comprised of a wide array of genres which include Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, and Funk. The band prides itself in playing covered music exactly as the original artist intended, with a performance that draws a crowd.
 
Mark Panniello Lead Singer What is there to know? Life would be boring without music. I’m able to play with a talented group of guys and have great fans coming out to each show. It just makes it all that much better. Steve aims to please with his guitar-wielding abilities. Inspiration comes from many genres. You can often hear a mix of Buckethead, Kaki King, The Haunted, and Django Reinhardt on Steve’s iPod. John is the foundation of the Monkeywax sound. His drumming skills have been crafted
through years of live playing. John enjoys a wide variety of music and influences many of the diverse song choices for the band. Ron’s roots come from his grandfather who was a guitarist and mandolin player. Inspiration comes from bass greats like Mark King, Marcus Miller and Stu Hamm. Ron is also known as the artist PlusUltra, on sites like itunes and icompositions.com. Chris Taylor Guitar Monkeywax’s newest member. Yep, this guy rocks hard.
